Harrier Boom

Harrier Boom is full of shots of harriers and their support teams in action which we haven't seen much in other videos. I'm sure the harrier fans out there will be sure to love it! Now I wouldn't normally post a video with a song that's been used before but it's been ten months since P.O.D.'s "Boom" was used in SLAMRAAM Boom and it's a killer song so why not?

This video was made by Flt Lt Steve Long with the VMA-311 'Tomcats' and sent in by a guy named Kevin who found it on the Militaryphotos.net website. It's also been seen it in other military forums and was made back in early 2003. Even though it's a bit old this will hopefully be a chance for more people to see it. I'm sure the folks from the USS Bohnomme Richard, LHD 6, appreciate seeing their fine ship in action too!

Bombshell

Bombshell was made by a guy who goes by "thadbme" and set to one of the most requested songs ever for a GrouchyMedia video. That's right, we finally have a video set to the song "Bombshell" by Powerman 5000! Just like the name implies, you'll see lots of bombs being dropped on enemy targets and various fighter planes doing their thing.

Some of the material has already been seen in Bomb Saddam and other parts of it contain some old video footage. I think "thadbme" did a good job though since he had limited material to work with. You can find more about him on his Pirate Cowboy website.

Note: Amazon doesn't sell the "Anyone for Doomsday?" album but the track is on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack.

Feel The Coast Guard

It's about time we had a video for the Coast Guard and this one makes the wait worthwhile! It was made by Brian Shajari, a Port Security Specialist in the Coast Guard Reserves, who goes to college when not called for active duty. He tell me he used Windows Movie Maker 2 for the editing and found the material on several Coast Guard websites and from some friends.

I think the music choice is perfect using "Somewhere I Belong" by Linkin Park. Brian worked on several versions of this video and this final edit goes prefectly to the music. There are high quality pictures and video of various Coast Guard units in action that most people have never seen before. Hopefully more people will have a chance now to see what a great force our US Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve provides for us at home and overseas!

You can email Brian here if you want to tell him what you think.
