Magic F-18 Ride

This video is the most fun of the three new January videos. The entire video is spent inside the cockpit of an F-18, from catapult launch, to landing back on the carrier with a thumbs-up. You'll really feel like you're riding on a "magic carpet" as the pilot banks and cruises through the clouds over the open ocean.

Now I wish I could tell you more about who made the video or even when it was done. Someone sent it in to me a while back and my efforts to find the editor and/or pilot have been unsuccessful. Perhaps someone out there can fill me in?

One thing that is clear is that this pilot is having a ton of fun! You can just imagine him singing along to "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf. It's a great song choice and sure makes me wish I could be up there flying too!
